Working in partnership with Brierley Hill Methodist Church, Amblecote Community Church runs a Baby & Toddler group called 'Tots'. Tots provides a free, welcoming place for families with young children to come along and enjoy free play, snack, craft and songs. Tots is on 10–11:30am every Thursday in term-time, at Brierley Hill Methodist Church, Bank Street, DY5 3DA. No need to book, just turn up!

7.30 – Wordsley Amateur Dramatic Society
Making our home at Brierley Hill Methodist Church in 2024 marked our 100th year of existence! Since its inception, WADS has strived to entertain audiences with a wide variety of plays and events; from farces to thrillers, drama to comedies, our aim is to interest all ages and preferences. We perform three plays annually, along with entries to drama festivals and a night dedicated to our patrons.
Club nights are on a Thursday evening from 7:30pm, where you can always find a welcoming smile, a cup of refreshing tea, biscuits and often cake! If you want to join us, no experience is necessary. We love to see anyone interested in amateur theatre, whether it be for acting, directing, stage management, set building, set decoration, costumes or making tea…the list is endless.
No experience is necessary. The society is open to anyone 15 +. Membership costs £30 annually, discounted for 15 -18 year olds and students in full time education up to 21 years old. You won’t pay anything until you’re sure WADS is for you, so you have nothing to lose.
If you love watching live theatre, our tickets are £10 each, or you can become a patron for £20 per year. Patron membership entitles you to a ticket for all three plays and an invitation to members’ and patrons’ special evenings. (information correct as at August 2026)

10.45 – Parkinson’s Dudley Support Group
Parkinson’s Dudley Support Group
Our group offers friendship and support locally to people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers. We offer a seated exercise class with a qualified Extend teacher to enable people to maintain their physical strength and flexibility and opportunity for their carers to socialise and to pass on information over a cup of tea or coffee.
We meet on 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 10:45 for an hour with a charge of £5 per session.
